A method to compare the ion outflow at magnetized and unmagnetized planets
Ion outflow has been observed at magnetized planet like Earth and unmagnetized planet like Mars and Venus. Mars, Venus and Earth are similar planets for some aspects but also very different for others, therefore the comparison between the ion outflow at each planet is of our interest. Using Cluster for the ions data and OMNI data for the solar wind, a preliminary method is presented to compare the ion outflow between magnetized and unmagnetized planet in the future.
