Exploring Small Solar System Bodies via Polarimetry. Polarimetry provides a unique advantage in studying not only the surface composition of airless bodies but also their physical properties, such as grain size and porosity. Correlations between the polarimetric, spectroscopic, and photometric measurements of water-bearing asteroids. Introducing a new polarimeter, SQUIDPOL, which is in operation and capable of remote observation.
