Nearly 100 space scientists gathered in Kiruna at Space Campus
Swedish Space Scientists Association (SRS) / Svenska Rymdforskares Samarbetsgrupp holds a national conference every year where the breadth of Swedish space research is highlighted. IRF hosted this year’s conference on March 26-27 at the Space Campus.
The conference covered a large range of space science related areas (Earth observations, astrobiology, solar system, space physiology and microgravity, atmospheric physics, space plasma and astronomy) carried out by scientists and technicians working at various Swedish universities and institutes.
SRS - a meeting place for space scientists
SRS is a collection of active space scientists and space engineers in Sweden that work for developing Swedish space science. Information, discussion and collaboration are the three key words for the association’s work in furthering space science, internally and externally.
Already on March 25, Swedish space scientists gathered at IRF, but then to present only in the field of space plasma.
